Twelve blocks down, twelve to go. I wasn't able to spend as much time working on the blocks for the border as I would have liked, but I'm still making progress. That's something, at least. LOL! Tuesday is a holiday and I took tomorrow off as well. My goal is to finish the blocks for the borders and construct the rest of the quilt top. Whether I achieve it or not is another matter. Darned real life getting in the way of my fun... :o)

I am a retired 60-year old widow with two lovely, grown daughters. I am also blessed with a wonderful teenaged grandson, and two beautiful step-granddaughters, or granddaughters-in-love, as I choose to view it. *Grin* Happily, we all reside in Florida within 30 minutes of one another.
I also have an energetic Yorkshire Terrier/Bichon Frise mix, Tasha. I don't know what I would do without her. She brings me constant joy.

The flowers are very pretty: I love the background colour.
Hi there!
Thanks so much for the comment on my daughter's quilt - she has just loved reading them!
I love these flowers you have appliqued and the quilt is just gorgeous!!! I'll be back :)
I really like your flowers!
Don't you wish we could just quilt when we wanted to and let the rest of the world go on by........
It is a beautiful quilt, and such happy flowers. I just love how you took something simple like a nine patch and made such a nice quilt out of it.
