Today is my grandbaby's first day of school. His mother said he was very excited and even woke up without any problems (Hallelujah!). As he boarded the school bus for the very first time, Rachel said she cried. I think that's every mother's right, don't you? I cried, too, when my babies started school. They grow so quickly.
I can't wait until they call tonite. I'm sure Anthony will have a lot to say about his first day. He's such a cutie, don't you think? :o)
Wait until mom sees all the paperwork she's going to have to fill out tonite. *evil laugh* Those of you who have been there can relate to that, right! LOL!
It was my youngest's first day of high school today...and I didn't cry. I did send her to school sick though. Anthony looks like he's ready for fun, he does have a twinkle in his eye! Tell your daughter not to blink...once they're in school it all goes so quickly! I swear I just dropped my kids off at Kindergarten and now two are in college and one in high school!
How sweet! Funny how we moms will wipe the tears away when we see that bus taking them off to school for the first time, second time, third time....sheesh. Do we ever get over that!?!

I am a retired 60-year old widow with two lovely, grown daughters. I am also blessed with a wonderful teenaged grandson, and two beautiful step-granddaughters, or granddaughters-in-love, as I choose to view it. *Grin* Happily, we all reside in Florida within 30 minutes of one another.
I also have an energetic Yorkshire Terrier/Bichon Frise mix, Tasha. I don't know what I would do without her. She brings me constant joy.

An exciting day for Grandma too, I'm betting. (I shed a few tears the first time I took my granddaughter to school for her first day.)
