Fun with Flowers

In between doing house and yard stuff, I've managed to complete 2 full chapters of my new EQ6 Applique Drawing book. I've learned so much already and I still have another 4 chapters to go. I always knew this program was amazing and fun; but it's even more so when you are able to expand on its capabilities. It also helps that the book is very easy to follow with step-by-step directions and illustrations.

Above is an original block I made all on my own using some of the lessons I've learned so far. Nothing special, but I had fun doing it and thought I would share it with you.

Happy quilting,

I think it's adorable. Will you make it? Did you get to the show in Burlington on Saturday?

Oh, my Suzy! Your applique block is sooooo gorgeous! What a blast to be able to design your own and see immediate results.

That's a sweet looking block. Gosh, I need to spend more time with my EQ6 software. Maybe I should think about those companion books! Keep well!
