Happily, I've made progress on my scrappy pinwheel flowers UFO. I decided to go with the yellow I used in the centers as sashing and scrappy cornerstones to highlight the blocks. And now they are all sewn together! Now to figure out a border. I'm hoping to be able to use stash fabric, but if all else fails, to the quilt shop I will go.
For some unknown reason, blogger has turned my pictures sideways. But whatever. I guess on this quilt that doesn't really matter. Weird though.
I am 54 years young and widowed from my soulmate of 31 years, but am content that I will meet up with him again one day.
I have two lovely, grown daughters. Heather and Rachel, and am blessed with a wonderful 11-year old grandson, Anthony, who is the light of my life. Happily, we all reside in Florida within 30 minutes of one another.
I also have an energetic Yorkshire Terrier/Bichon Frise mix, Tasha. I don't know what I would do without her. She brings me constant joy.
