Here is my UFO for this month. I just have two borders left to put on it and the top will be done. I call this one "Ju Ju Beads" because it kind of reminds me of those children's plastic pop beads that you could snap together. I made it from charm squares from Kate Spain's "Terrain" line. I sooo love the colors in this collection. I started this in October when I was up north visiting my sister. My 9-year old niece took some of the leftover charms and made a tote bag for herself. Of course I supervised. She seems to really be enjoying the sewing machine I bought her for Christmas 2010. :o)
I wanted to do something easy this month since I've been and will be busy with our Guild Quilt Show which is this coming weekend. I'm on the Boutique Committee and holy moly do we have a lot of things for sale. It never fails to amaze me the talent and generosity of the 300 gals and guys (yes there are a couple) in my Guild.
As for last month's UFO progress, I bound 4 quilts (with one still left to do). I am so glad to call them completely finished! Here are two of them. The other two are in posts below, so feel free to scroll down for additional info and pictures. I'll post the remaining one once it's finished.
Happy quilting!
Suzy

Love the fabric in Ju Ju Beads. Great progress on the UFOs. Do you have any quilts in the show? I'll keep my eyes open. Looking forward to the show.
Beautiful quilts, Suzy! I love that scrappy block one, with the blue and brown borders.....beautiful! And the one with the red border is fantastic.....the quilting is so fun on it! Love 'em!
