Our guild has a few women who own longarms and volunteer their time quilting tops for Quilts of Valor. So I was playing in EQ not long ago and designed this quick to make top. I'll bring it to our meeting on Wednesday and "pass the baton." It's always fun to see something I designed on the computer "come to life." Salute, Suzy
LOVE the way this turned out!! Looking forward to seeing what your "quilting angel" does with it, too. Will you be doing a tutorial or offering a pattern for the quilt? QOV makers around the country would enjoy having a fast pattern.
Hi Suzy, This is just perfect for this time of year. I think it would make a great table runner, too. I just lost a good friend who was a veteran, and this just makes me think of him. It is so nice of your guild to give their time for quilts like this. ~smile~ Roseanne
What an elegantly simple QOV design you've created! I saw it in the EQ Users Facebook group, and saw your updated post there today. As great as the design is, the completed quilt is truly wonderful ! Thanks for the inspiration! BTW, several quilters do post links to their blogs in the f.b. group and I know you'll be most welcome to do so, too. Karen

I am a retired 60-year old widow with two lovely, grown daughters. I am also blessed with a wonderful teenaged grandson, and two beautiful step-granddaughters, or granddaughters-in-love, as I choose to view it. *Grin* Happily, we all reside in Florida within 30 minutes of one another.
I also have an energetic Yorkshire Terrier/Bichon Frise mix, Tasha. I don't know what I would do without her. She brings me constant joy.

I enjoy designing in EQ as well. Would be nice if I could make the quilts as quickly as I design them :) Yours is a great design!
This one is just stunning...you should submit it to a quilting magazine!
