I have a new toy. I recently purchased Husqvarna Viking's newest software -- 5D Quilt Design Creator. I have a Viking Designer Diamond sewing/embroidery machine and already own the 5D Professional Embroidery software, so this was very appealing to me as I watched many YouTube videos of the software in action. I was intrigued. Needless to say, this software rocks (and no, this is not a paid advertisement, LOL!)
After following a lesson in the user's guide and learning the in's and out's and what buttons and tabs do what, I decided to try my hand at designing my own quilt motif. It was so fun! I then downloaded it to my USB stick and popped it into my machine and stitched it out. What you think?...
More fun to come,

Wow, very fancy! Looks like a fun new hobby.
Yes, wow, it looks fabulous@
I like your design very much! Some has a new toy..and is going to get ALOT of use out of it! lol
Beautiful! I like the combination of curves and straight quilting. Glad you enjoyed the process!
That's a very nice looking design. I will be looking forward to more posts about the software, as I have been thinking of buying it myself. I made a baby quilt recently and did the quilting with my Designer I machine, some stitch in the ditch and a variety of other motifs. Some worked pretty well, others didn't.

I have 5D Quilt Design Creator. Bought a DVD to help with instructions. The lady told me I could put the size of my quilt in somewhere, evidently I do not know where because every time I put a size in it reverts back to 39.37, using work are, element, quilt, etc. I had a friend in Oklahoma make the design for me seeing as I could not, she sent it and I put it directly to Qbot but it reverts it back to 39.37 also. What am I doing wrong? Help, I have a quilt due May 1, and need to use this design. Thanks in advance.
